MinerTools provides tools for scanning, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting ASIC miners and mining farms. MinerTools does not perform cryptocurrency mining on your phone or on our servers.
Information we collect
- Account data: email address, account identifier, and information needed to manage your account.
- Phone number: if you use phone verification or SMS login, your mobile number and verification status.
- Security data: temporary OTP challenges, expiry times, session identifiers, and hashed IP address and browser/device information. Access and refresh tokens are stored as hashes, not in raw form.
- Support data: ticket subjects, messages, statuses, ratings, and attachments when you use support.
- Technical data: limited security and diagnostic information needed to protect and operate the service.
Miner and device data
Device information is processed for viewing and management in the user’s app and is not retained permanently on our server for that purpose. Any action on a device, including changing a pool, worker, setting, or restarting it, requires the user’s request and confirmation.
How we use data
We use data to create and secure accounts, send OTP codes, manage sessions, provide support, respond to requests, and protect service reliability. MinerTools does not access, manage, or control your mining-pool account, wallet, assets, or withdrawal information.
Third-party services
- If Google sign-in is enabled, Google is used to verify the identity token and the necessary Google account identifier is linked to the MinerTools account.
- For enabled OTP or operational SMS messages, the required phone number and message data are sent to the configured SMS provider.
- Support notifications may use connected support services for the related ticket.
Our current WordPress code does not show active Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or personalized advertising.
Cookies and sessions
The website uses cookies and temporary session data for login, form security, account sessions, and the WooCommerce cart. API access tokens are short-lived; refresh sessions are limited in duration and can be revoked by logout.
Retention and deletion
Account and support data are retained while needed for service delivery, security, support, or legal obligations. The current backend does not define one automatic deletion period for every data category. Account deactivation revokes active sessions and access; it does not immediately delete every account or support record.
To request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, contact us through the MinerTools Support page. Requests may require identity verification and are handled subject to legal obligations.
Service scope
MinerTools is not a mining pool, exchange, wallet, or investment service. Device, pool, worker, and configuration choices remain the user’s responsibility. No income or performance result is guaranteed.
